The Bassetlaw Schools project is the largest grouped schools project, by construction cost, to date in England and Wales. The success of Marlborough's Framework Agreement with Balfour Beatty on the Rotherham and Calderdale Schools PFI led to the agreement being developed further for our involvement in this new cluster of schools.

The first tranche of schools, completed in 2005-2006, are:

• Tuxford High School. Package Value: £1,050,000
• Retford Oaks School and St Giles Special Needs School. Package Value: £1,700,000
• Elizabethan High School. Package Value: £1,000,000

Marlborough has also been awarded the masonry works on Phase 2 which will see the construction of a further 2 schools, 2 post-16 centres and 2 leisure centres.
